The RED Scout is especially abused this time around. Subverted, it looks like the Scout smashes into the camera itself before it's revealed that he just crashed into the RED base's window. Set up with the Heavy, but the punchline is the Scout.
This series is already all about this trope, but this video plays suffering for comedy moreso than previous ones. The magazine the Pyro is reading in the last scene is the Jarate Comic from the Sniper vs. Along with Sound-Effect Bleep. Justified in that he most likely hasn't given himself a heart implant yet. On the other side of the battlefield, none of the Soldiers are firing at said vulnerable Medic.
Cutscene Power to the Max: Mostly averted, but the Medic is keeping a severed head alive indefinitely, and a RED Demoman is on the battlefield in a wheelchair. The Medigun also seems to have a low setting, as he's keeping the Heavy alive, conscious, and mostly out of pain without his heart and with his chest cut open, but without healing him. The Soldiers' rockets also curve in mid-air to hit the Scout during the opening sequence. This actually makes sense when one notes that the Medic is using the Quick-Fix instead of the vanilla Medigun.
It doesn't make the patient invulnerable, but the description of the Quick-Fix notes that this is because the invulnerability function of the Quick-Fix shorted out after that first test, forcing the Medic to focus on one benefit or the other. The first part of the soundtrack, which plays when the RED Scout is fleeing from a barrage of rockets, is a slowed down version of "Faster than a Speeding Bullet".
Apparentlythe disembodied Spy head is a remnant from an earlier version of the short.

While the Medic's anecdote about losing his medical license see below is a little bit disturbing, it's still kind of jarring to hear him and Heavy laughing and chatting casually while a battle rages outside and the Medic is currently performing surgery on the Heavy while the latter is awake. The Medic has a fair flock of doves, apparently as pets. When he leaves his operating room and takes the field with the Heavy, a bunch of them fly out of the garage to mark his entrance.
They also fly by when he and the Heavy are standing atop a pile of Soldiers. Hoo boy, the Medic. He's enjoying himself when he really shouldn't be.
Fresh Brewed Victory
Right before the title card the BLU rockets appear to send the Scout smashing into the camera only for it to turn out to just be a window. It's hard to tell what map this takes place in, but according to Valve, it's a modified version of Badwater Basin. It takes a bit of time to see that the entire contents of the refrigerator are a Sandvich, three hearts "Mega Baboon", "Loch Ness Hamster", and one label too small to readthree bottles of Red Shed beer, the BLU Spy's head, a battery for the head, and an ashtray.
From the placement of the Spy's head, it's implied that Meet the Sandvich was done in the same fridge from his point of view, but the Sandvich is on the wrong shelf. So, from best to worst: This is now TF2's most satisfying device for setting up kills and earning assists; wetting an enemy with a bodyshot, then following up with another dart is usually a guaranteed takedown.
A side-benefit is that it lessens the frustration of trying to line-up skullshots and replaces it with, well, trying to distribute your urine to the entire enemy team. What more do you want in a gun? The Shortstop spits four pellets--six fewer than the normal Scattergun, but feels like it has equal or comparable harassing and killing power.
It's more accurate over long distances, and also boasts a faster reload time than the existing Scatterguns, with the added benefit of reloading its entire clip at once instead of individual shells.
It's also something of a training tool for learning how to conserve your rockets. Be warned that the hidden loot inside may be an older TF2 item I can't confirm if that includes hatsand be aware that they're not exploitable--gifted items aren't tradable and can't be broken down into spare metal, even if they're items from previous updates like The Wrangler.
She expresses a desire for intercourse with Scout, which he promptly agrees to, but as he undresses, he hears the voice of Miss Pauling in his head, asking if Scout had forgotten about her. Scout objects, saying that in the six years that he knew her, they hadn't even gone on a date, but Pauling says that she would find it 'sexier than anything' if he waited patiently for her to change her mind.
Scout agrees with her point, and begins to reject Zhanna with a lengthy explanation, but Zhanna leaves out of sheer boredom from Scout's talkativeness. She then picks up the Soldier, and it is implied that the pair make love.

Heavy's two other younger sisters, Yana and Bronislava, return from hunting, and Heavy greets them, saying they have company. The sisters begin picturing over-romanticized versions of Sniper and Spy. However, they are let down when they find the Scout, who loudly proclaims that he is "taken", the Pyro burning a napkin, and the Soldier, wearing a frilly pink dress and claiming he "has a girlfriend now". Scout begs for the Heavy to return, but he refuses, saying he must protect his family from danger, but Bronislava claims she's sick of the cabin and tells him the family can fend for itself now.
Heavy doubts that, worried that the family would be taken to a gulag once more, but Yana tells him that an attempt was made to send them to one but they killed the men sent to do it. Heavy is shocked, realizing his sisters no longer need him and that they have grown up. Heavy turns back to Scout, asking if the mission was dangerous, if it paid well, and if they would get to destroy evil men.
When Scout replies yes to all three albeit unsure that they will be paid since he did not ask Miss PaulingHeavy happily agrees to rejoin the mercs, to the jubilation of everyone present. Everyone decides to leave together, with Zhanna and Soldier agreeing to return to America after the job is finished. Bronislava wants to visit Paris, and Yana expresses the desire to see New York. Heavy's mother wishes them good-bye, giving them a sack of bear meat for the trip, but Heavy decides his mother will come with them.
Mother and son embrace each other happily. The focus shifts once more, to Gray Mann and the under-renovation Mann Co. Gray is talking to an unseen man, claiming that he had failed to deliver on his promise of finding the mercs.
The man is then seen, revealed as the Heavy from Team Fortress Classicand he asserts that he has already found the mercs and knows where they are going next.Meet the Amazing Team (Full Series)
Medic questions their decision to leave so soon, saying he had yet to finish implanting baboon uteruses into the team. TFC Heavy grows angry and expresses his fury at this experiment, and Medic simply points to the TFC Demomanapparently named Greg, and says he implanted three into him and Greg hadn't complained.
Greg panics, unaware that the Medic was doing anything but filling a cavity.

Medic, rather than objecting, sees this as a chance to pit his new experiments against his old ones, and claims it 'won't be a problem at all'. The plot returns to Hale and Darling, with the latter confirming he had arranged travel for Hale and Maggie. The action switches to Scout on the phone with Miss Pauling traveling with Demoman and Spyconfirming they had recruited Heavy.
Pauling is pleased, telling them to get back across the border and report to the plane she had chartered in Kotzebue. Scout questions whether she thinks the Sniper is there in Australia, to which she confirms that it is certain.
